Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga was on Friday Sept 27th shocked by parents’ move from the ill-fated Precious Talent School holding placards demanding their school back.

The parents are reported to have displayed placards before Mr. Odinga demanding the reopening of the Dagoretti based school in Nairobi.

The demonstrations happened along Ngong Racecourse on Friday Sep 27th during the memorial held in honor of the departed 8 young souls.

Parents are demanding the release of the school headteacher Mosses Wainaina who is in detention at Kabete Police Station after school collapsed killing pupils and scores injured.

“The parents want the school reconstructed and they want the teacher released. Odinga as you can see they are not demonstrating violently,” Dagoretti South MP John Kiarie addressed.

Investigations into the tragedy which occurred at the institution in Dagoretti South revealed unbelievable details about the structural integrity of many buildings in the country.
