“I want to inform politicians who claim that Kibicho is out to frustrate them that the two of us are public servants and we work for everyone. That’s our mandate as directed by President Uhuru Kenyatta. If you want to fight, face off against your fellow politicians. You can fight Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho who will beat you up.” Mating’I said adding.

No nonsense Interior CS Fred Matinag’i has made it clear that he only reports to one person in Jubilee administration.

Speaking during a fundraiser held at Githuruini in Kirinyaga County in which he was the Chief Guest, he warned Deputy President William Ruto and his lieutenants  never to cross his lane if threy wanted to remain safe in Jubilee administration.

Mr. Matiang’i, finally broke his silence and hit back at Ruto and allies who he accused of constant attacks to his office.

This follows the Tuesday, November 12th, onslaught by Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wah who led a brigade of Ruto’s allies in claiming that Matiang’i and his PS Kibicho were complicit in the violence witnessed during the Kibra by-election.

“However, instead of facing them, you end up picking fights with us”.

The Uhuru’s super CS went on to claim that a certain politician from Coast approached him during a past function and informed him that he would prefer working with him(Matiang’i) than Kibicho.

“The PS and I are like two sides of a coin. If you pick a war with him, then you have a problem with me.” he said.

He has since warned that he will not be intimidated by anyone but only Uhuru can “I am not afraid to say this in public. We shall continue working,” Matiang’i continued. Video/Courtesy-
