The already collapsed Mumias Sugar Company on Tuesday, November 5th, send home all its employees over receivership plans on September 20th.

The company’s management promised that any pending payments and bills will be dealt with in accordance with the provisions of the law.

According to the press statement,  the company stated that it will prioritize recruiting the affected staff on a temporary basis until when its operations are back.
