Waititu’s bleak future forces him to make a sudden about-turn against Ruto.

“There is now no Tanga Tanga or Kieleweke. No one can claim he owns Uhuru more than the other. This is now past tense,” Waititu declared in Kikuyu language.

Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu has finally succumbed to pressure and now supports Raila Odinga/ Uhuru Kenyatta change course.

Making the pronouncements on Sunday November 17th, he said he would nolonger recognize Tangatanga nor Kieleweke factions but instead will onwards focus his energy on supporting the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) which is a brainchild of the two top leaders.

K24 Digital reported that the Jubilee’s Tanga tanga affiliate had declared his full support for the handshake and its outcomes.

“There is now no Tanga Tanga or Kieleweke. No one can claim he owns Uhuru more than the other. This is now past tense,” Waititu declared in Kikuyu language.

He added, “I am 100 percent fully behind the Building Bridges Initiative and the handshake,” the embattled governor pledged.

And speaking on heap of graft cases awaiting for him in court cases, he showed optimism that he would triumph all of them soon and go back to work.

“For me to have made it become governor is because of God’s blessing. The same God who has brought me this far will be able to help me deal with my cases in court and soon they will be over,” he stated.

The embattled governor who at one point claimed that the state was targeting him for supporting Ruto, is currently facing a corruption case (not one) involving sh 558 million.

The courts have also barred him from accessing his workstation forcing his deputy to swing into action and run  show.
