Nominated City MP Maina Kamanda has exposed ex-Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu for rampant theft of both public and individual money.

Speaking in Kiambu on Friday Jan 31st during the swearing in ceremony of the new governor James Nyoro who has replaced Waititu, Kamanda recounted how Waititu borrowed money from him for campaigns which he never refunded.

Kamanda accused the embattled ex-governor of using stolen wealth to buy properties across the city with reckless abandon.

“During the campaigns, that man used to come to me to borrow Ksh1 million, promising he will return it. Now he has bought five houses in Nairobi, including one in Runda. He lacks respect.

“Even stealing needs intelligence. This man did not have even a little intelligence,” he tore into Waititu.

The MP took the opportunity to thank all those who initiated removal of the Waititu from office saying it was an a no man’s fit achievement.

“I was on the front-line with Nyoro (Kiambu governor) and I want to thank him because he stood firm.

He did not spare the Deputy President in his sentiments saying all the 11 senators who voted against the wishes of the majority were doing what they had been ordered to do by their master. Video/Courtesy-
