The back and forth between the executive and the judiciary has been taken a notch higher.
On Tuesday Jan 28th, the country walk up on news of banners condemning the performance of the judiciary. The banners were scattered all over main highways in Nairobi city.
“Why is the majority of inmates in Kenya the poor people, we demand a working judiciary free of corrupt judges now.” One of the banners read.
On a another banner, the courts were being questioned for not being able to charge the drug barons like the Akashas who are currently serving their 20 year terms in USA.
On many instances, President Uhuru Kenyatta has been faulting the judiciary for failing to help the state fight corruption in the country.
Kenyatta has publicly been wondering why those who loot a lot of money from public coffers, none has ever been convicted.
