Members affiliated to Tangatanga grouping have made fresh announcements on the Building Bridges Initiative BBI.

Addressing on Friday Jan 31st, they made it clear that they will be attending the next Kitui meeting and all other BBI rallies as planned by Odinga team.

Citizen Digital reported that, led by Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wa, they all resolved to support the Raila and Kenyatta BBI project.

“Tomorrow, we will be going to the Kitui BBI rally which is organised by the other team while on Saturday, we will be heading to Nakuru for our own organised meeting.

“On Sunday, the other team had announced a rally in Garissa and so we will be headed there as well. On February 14, the other team had not announced any meeting and so we have one in Bungoma while on February 15, we will join them in Meru,” Ichung’wa mentioned in his address.

“On February 21, we will join them in Narok on February 22, we will go to Kirinyaga or Nyandarua. On February 28, we will go to Kericho,” he added.

This announcement comes barely four days after reports emerged that President Uhuru Kenyatta had scolded his deputy over continued insubordination.

Insiders revealed that the head of state confronted the DP for his continued behavior to frustrate his development and unity plans.

“The president told Ruto to his face that he has to stop the insubordination as well as frustrating his unity efforts,” alluded the source.
