“Waititu has no one around him now. This a lesson to those in power, power is temporary. Once power leaves, even the people around you leave. Let power and respect bring people closer to you. Be nice, be a team player,” captioned Patrick Safari.

An unbelievable video has surfaced showing the embattled ex-Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu walking alone on the city streets.

This is happening just days after he was thrown out of office on allegation of fraud among other things.

In the highly shared clip on social media, beaten Waititu can be seen strolling on foot helplessly and confused.

“Waititu has no one around him now. This a lesson to those in power, power is temporary. Once power leaves, even the people around you leave. Let power and respect bring people closer to you. Be nice, be a team player,” captioned Patrick Safari.

Waititu was kicked out by a majority number in the senate even after he tried hard to sanitise his actions as the Kiambu County Government governor.

Despite being thrown out and his deputy sworn in, he still found guts to move to court to challenge the move that seems like a sealed deal.

The ousted county boss has since maintained that his removal was not fairly conducted especially at the county level where it started on Dec 19th 2019.

Tweeps weighed into his current situation with one Martin Njau writing that it was easy to find Waititu on phone than ever before.

“Bitange Ndemo said it through experience, they never listened to him. Waititu phone had been busy but if you call today, he will answer,” tweeted Martin Njau.

“I agree with you, once power leaves, even people around you leave,” added Phillip Kasaya.

With hopes that he could still come back through courts, it is him who knows better, since doing so will require he starts a full and grueling process of removing a siting governor from office.
