“Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing. For those who yet again after Mombasa (BBI) beat me up, I forgive you too. I know you all personally as we meet in Gor Mahia games,” he wrote.

Drama-filled Gatundu MP Mosses Kuria now claims he has forgiven his tormentors at the latest Kitui BBI rally.

Via his Facebook handle, he appeared to condemn the alleged harassment saying it was uncalled for but that he had forgiven the likes of Governor Charity Ngilu whom he termed inciters.

“Charity Ngilu (a very close personal friend, it hurts), James Nyoro and those in whose name violence was visited upon me, Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga. I forgive you,” Kuria stated.

“Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing. For those who yet again after Mombasa (BBI) beat me up, I forgive you too. I know you all personally as we meet in Gor Mahia games,” he wrote.

He however seemed to applaud the locals who seemingly threw weight behind him saying they had made him proud at the venue.

Kuria was in the company of Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen and Kikuyu legislator Kimani Ichungwa when the commotion ensued.

Further, when the altercation was taking place, residents seemed to raise an alarm asking for Kuria and friends to be accommodated somewhere within the rally.

From the video we received on our desk, Kitui locals could be heard shouting, “apewe kiti,,apewe kiti,”.

Later in the day,  Kuria as usual, took to his Facebook page to thank those who stood with him as he was being harassed.

“To the great people of Kitui, God in heaven knows how emotional and grateful I am to you. You have done me and my colleagues proud,” Kuria confessed.

The Deputy President’s ally went ahead to point out to Governor Ngilu that she was headed home from the actions witnessed in Kitui today.
