Standard Group renowned features writer cum Crime reporter is dead.

Scribes fraternity is currently in mourning after Dalingtone Manyara, a bubbly reporter, was announced dead on Tuesday morning Feb 18th.

He died at at their Kithoka Estate home in Meru County.

The Standard reported that Mr. Manyara 29 experienced a short illness before he died having fallen sick after his recent return from the Coast.

He had travelled to Mombasa to help ferry back households belonging to the late brother Ronny Ntubiri who they buried recently.

Manyara and the late brother Ntubiri have been so close and in most cases their images would be found in the same post on their social walls.

The late Manyara was also reporting for Radio Maisha from Meru County where he has been eulogized by colleagues as a dedicated face in the media industry.

His Bureau Chief Francis Ngige said their staff had lost a lively individual who was zealous about his assignments.

“He was such a bubbly mate and a passionate journalist who we shall greatly miss. May his soul rest in eternal peace and may the family find strength,” Ngige stated.

Friends and relatives who took to his Facebook mentioned how he was one person who you would miss anytime you spent time together.

The late Manyara, before joining Standard Group, also worked for Nation Media and The Eye paper.
