The man who discovered and built the suicidal local gospel artist Papa Dennis is Sadat Muhindi.

Muhindi is a billionaire who picked the Wonder singer from the Village in Matunda Lugari and brought him in the city for music.

The billionaire’s main source of income remains sketchy but details point at business and networks.

He is reported to have worked days and nights to built Dennis’ career which blossomed catapulting him on both national and international platform.

Papa Dennis’ flashy music career then saw him work on projects with big names in music like Christina Shusho, Korede Bello daddy Owen, Ray C, and Mr. Flavour.

Dennis made classy expensive music videos that were all funded by Maliza Umaskini CEO Sadat Muhindi. The late Dennis explained in one of his recent interviews that the flashy life he was living including the high tech videos which made headlines were fully funded by the loaded Maliza Umaskini CEO.

“I don’t decide what to spend on shooting a video, my manager Sadat and his team do. Besides, he is one person who believes in quality and will never settle for anything less,” the Kitale-born artist told Daily Nation in 2018.

A quick look on the Maliza Umaskini Youtube channel, Papa Dennis’ videos though garnered some good views, it is obvious that the music struggled to attract listeners well despite heavy funding.

Dennis, though a big name, his music can hardly be sang with any Kenyan and that’s why so many people did not know who he was even after death, only the media and few friends here and there.

Sadat refuted having a a hand  in the tragic death of the artist saying he never ejected Dennis from the stable. It was the contract which ended.

Dennis, who until last years was flooded in money, allegedly threw himself to death from a 7th floor storey building after life became hard to manage.
