Slain officer attached to Deputy President William Ruto Harambee House Annexe office left a note behind before his death.

Sergeant Kipyegon Kenei’s body was on Thursday Feb 20th discovered inside a servants quarter he was living in Imara Daima’s Villa Franca Estate. This was after he had not been seen for sometime by the Nyumba Kumi vigilante raising eyebrows.

“He lives in an extension of a main house. The person living in the main house had noticed the door to the officer’s house had been open for more than a day and asked their house help to go and check what was happening. We also noticed his clothes had not been taken out to dry as was the norm,” The Star quoted area Nyumba Kumi Charman Peter Amunga

Kenei was among the officers who ushered Rashid Echesa and some foreigners into DP William Ruto’s offices at Harambee Annex before their dramatic arrest.

Details shared by security agency further revealed that before he died from the bullet, he wrote and left behind a brief note which the police retrieved at the crime scene.

The note was simply advising anyone who would discover his body to conduct his cousin whom he identified as Ben alongside his brother.
