Former State House Digital Director Dennis Itumbi has welcomed Jowie Irungu back to the freedom world after two years’ stint in Jail.

Taking to his twitter handle, Itumbi told Irungu to feel free as he comes to join the rest of the world but reminded him that justice must be given to both ends.

“Welcome to the free world Jowie. Being granted bail was long overdue. We will continue praying that justice is done for all, the late Monica, Jacque and yourself,” Itumbi posted.

Jowie had remained behind jail for two years even after his co-accused Jaque Maribe had been set free barely a month after their arrest.

He was accused of participating in the heinous act of murdering business lady Monica Kimani whose lifeless body was found in her Lamuria Garden Apartment in Kilimani Nairobi on Sept 19th 2018. Her hands had been tied from behind and throat slit apart.

Jowie has been in prison since 2018 when he was said to be the main suspect in the beastly murder of the lady

He was however, on Thursday Feb 13th, released from prison after Justice James Wakiaga said they were no compelling reasons as to why the suspect Jowie should remain in custody.
