“If Ruto with all the armed Recce Squad can cry about his security in rallies what of mama mbonga on the market,?” Junet clapped back.
Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and Suna East Lawmaker Junet Muhammed locked horns on live Tv show over the woes facing the Deputy President and BBI politics.
On Wednesday segment of Citizen JLKL show hosted by veteran anchor Jeff Koinange, the problem started when Senator Murkomen tried to blame the head of state over the problems facing his deputy.
Murkomen argued that it was strange for Mr. Kenyatta to keep quiet when his assistant was under constant attacks from all corners including the executive wing. The mouthful senator who always says Uhuru has no issues with Ruto, changed all over a sudden and appeared to speak from both ends of his mouth by asking why the head of State had not stopped this drama and yet he has the powers.
“Has the President ever cared to find out why certain ministers attack his deputy publicly?” Murkomen posed.
It was at this point that Junet threatened to almost walk out of the show claiming that Mr. Murkomen was deviating from real issues. He thought the DP ally was turning into a cry baby on Ruto’s fake assassination claims.
Junet therefore told off Murkomen reminding him that it had become a culture with the Deputy president to divert attention of Kenyans with fake assassination claims so as to survive any fraud case that crops up in his office. He said the DP always uses the tactic to gain sympathy from unsuspecting Kenyans which he termed as another political conmaship and fraud on the part of the DP.
“We cannot be here a whole night discussing whether or not the Deputy President’s – someone who has a battalion of recce squad officers – life is in danger,” the infuriated legislator remarked adding that Ruto with all the armed officers cannot be coming on the media and in the public rallies to rant over his state of security. “If Ruto can cry about his safety in rallies what of mama mbonga on the market,?” Junet clapped back.

And on attempting to attack the handshake partner Raila Odinga, Murkomen was left wreathing in pain when a not-to –lie-down-quietly Junet asked him to start accepting the bitter truth that Ruto was headed to the dead end of his political life.
“I can tell you, whether there is a handshake or no handshake, William Ruto has zero chances of becoming the president of Kenya,” Junet stated during his last rebuttal on JKL as the show faded into a conclusion. Video/Courtesy-
