He said this will be the start of his next political life in the Rift valley and Kenya at large and asked everyone to be patient as he plans to do as promised.

The Baringo senator was officially crowned the Moi family head of politics during father’s burial service held in Baringo Nakuru County last month. His elder brothers led by Rongai lawmaker Raymond Moi charged him to steer ahead his late father’s KANU political legacy.

The young Moi then assured Ruaka residents that he will be back for a length of discussion over his ambitions in the country and that the friendship between him and Central region people was intact.

“I want to ask you to give me a chance to finish our customs as the Kalenjin. When we lose someone we must mourn for 40 days. I have just left home twice, to Meru for the Building Bridges Initiative meeting because it is important and will benefit all of us and for the Nginyo funeral.

“Today [Wednesday] I came to have lunch with you, but I will come back for more discussions,” Moi stated.
